The Unity Campaign is a powerful annual reminder of what can be achieved when nonprofit partners, sponsors, and the community work together. This year’s campaign was centered on a critical mission: supporting the Asset-Limited, Income-Constrained, Employed (ALICE) households that make up over one-third of Frederick County. These are our neighbors who are working, yet still find it difficult to afford basic human necessities.

2026 Campaign Highlights: The community’s response between March 4 and March 18 was remarkable. Here is how we moved the needle this year:

  • 6,075 diapers and hygiene essentials were donated by community members
  • Close to 6,000 hygiene items have already been distributed to our community recipient sites
  • Over $3,400 donated to our Unity Campaign Fundraiser

The Power of the Match Our success was bolstered by the generosity of our Incentive Match Sponsors: the Ausherman Family Foundation, Delaplaine Foundation, Inc., Natelli Communities, and The Randall Charitable Trust Donor Advised Fund. Their support ensured that every dollar donated by the public stayed within the nonprofit sector, with an additional boost from the matching pool.

Partner Spotlights We would like to recognize Celebree School for their leadership in hosting a hygiene drive, as well as our community donation site partners: Common Market Co-Op (W. 7th Street) and Basal Therapies and Preschool. Their willingness to serve as hubs for generosity made these numbers possible.

Finally, we thank our media partners— Manning Media, Frederick News-Post, and Good Morning Frederick—for keeping the community informed and engaged.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year’s campaign a success.
