Only two days left! 3 DAYS LEFT! 🚨 The 2nd Annual Frederick Diaper Drive is almost here, and we need your help to make a massive impact for local families. Thank you @hhglobalinc for your generous donations that will support the nearly 1 in 2 families struggling with diaper insecurity in Frederick County, MD Diaper need isn’t just a national statistic — it’s a Frederick County reality. 6,400 children under age 3 in our county experience diaper insecurity, and closing that gap would take 3.8 million diapers a year (Urban Institute, 2025). It’s National Diaper Need Awareness Week! 🧸 Tonight, we celebrated alongside incredible Frederick County nonprofits at @amazon’s “Cultivating Community Reception” honoring recent grant recipients! Diaper insecurity isn’t just a physical necessity issue—it directly impacts maternal health, with research linking diaper need to higher rates of anxiety and depressive symptoms. In fact, a study published in Pediatrics found that an inadequate diaper supply was a stronger predictor of maternal depressive symptoms than food insecurity.
