2025 Impact Report:

When we launched just five months ago, we had a simple mission: to ensure that no family in Frederick, Maryland, has to choose between putting food on the table and buying essential hygiene products. Today, we’re looking back at our first 150 days, and the results are a testament to the power of community.
The Power of Your Donations
The sheer volume of support we’ve received has been overwhelming. In less than half a year, we have successfully collected over 15,000 diapers and hygiene essentials. These aren’t just items on a shelf; they represent health, dignity, and relief for parents and individuals navigating difficult times.
Thanks to our volunteers and partners, we’ve already moved those donations into the hands of those who need them most, distributing nearly 12,000 items across the county.
Focus on Dignity: The FLOwer Kit Initiative
One of our proudest achievements this season has been the launch of our FLOwer kits. We know that “period poverty” is a significant barrier to education and work. To combat this, we’ve assembled 228 feminine hygiene kits, specifically designed to provide reliable, monthly support with care and respect.
Real People, Real Impact
While the numbers help us track our growth, the real story is in the families we serve. To date, we have directly supported more than 450 families right here in Frederick.
Behind every kit and every diaper bundle is a neighbor who can breathe a little easier this month. Whether it’s a mother who can now send her child to daycare because she has the required diapers, or a student who doesn’t have to miss class, this impact is yours as much as it is ours.
Looking Ahead
We are thrilled to announce that our mission is gaining major momentum! We recently won a $3,500 grant from the Community Foundation of Frederick County.
These funds are specifically designated to support our 2nd Annual Frederick Diaper Drive, held in partnership with the Rotary Club of Frederick. This grant allows us to scale up our collection efforts and ensures that our next drive will be our most impactful one yet.
Looking Ahead: The 2026 Unity Campaign
The excitement doesn’t stop there. We are honored to share that we have been selected as one of only 37 organizations to participate in the United Way Unity Campaign (taking place March 4–18, 2026).
Being part of this campaign is a major milestone for our young organization. It means that during those two weeks in March, your donations to us can be increased through the Unity Campaign’s incentive match, helping your dollars go further for families in our community.
Want to be part of the next 15,000? Whether you donate items, volunteer your time to assemble kits, or share our mission with a friend, you are the heartbeat of this organization.
2025 Annual Harvest of Hope Festival
We are thrilled to announce that we distributed approximately 6,000 hygiene essentials at the Annual Harvest of Hope Festival! These items, which included diapers, wipes, and feminine hygiene kits, went directly to support the 1,200 families who received their Thanksgiving turkey and sides.

Closing the Gap on Diaper Need in Frederick, Maryland: Over 9,000 Diapers & Hygiene Essentials Collected in September & 1,822 Already in Families’ Hands

In Frederick County, too many families face the heartbreaking reality of diaper need—the inability to afford enough clean, dry diapers for their children. This basic necessity is often overlooked, yet it impacts a family’s ability to keep children healthy, attend childcare, and even maintain steady employment.
Since our official launch this summer, Blessed Provisions Diaper & Toiletry Bank has collected 5,857 diapers through the generosity of our community. Already, we have placed 1,822 diapers and hygiene essentials directly into the hands of local families who need them most.
Behind every number is a story:
- A mother able to send her baby to daycare with confidence.
- A family spared the stress of choosing between diapers and groceries.
- A child who can simply play, sleep, and grow without the discomfort of being left in a soiled diaper too long.
This is the power of community action. When neighbors come together, we can close the gap on diaper need and restore dignity to families who are working hard but still struggling to make ends meet.
But the need is far greater than what we’ve reached so far. In Frederick County, thousands of families qualify as ALICE households (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed)—earning above the federal poverty level but still unable to afford essentials like diapers and period supplies. Blessed Provisions is committed to standing in that gap.
We’re calling on partners, businesses, and individuals to join us. You can:
- Donate diapers, wipes, or hygiene items
- Host a community diaper drive
- Contribute financially to sustain our efforts
Every diaper counts. Every act of kindness matters. Together, we can ensure no family in Frederick has to choose between diapers and other essentials.
Our Community Partners
Blessed Provisions would not be possible without the strength of our community partners. From schools and churches to local businesses and nonprofits, these partnerships allow us to extend our reach and put diapers, period products, and hygiene essentials directly into the hands of families who need them most.
Together, we are building a network of hope, dignity, and support across Frederick County. Each partner plays a vital role—whether it’s hosting a diaper drive, serving as a donation drop-off site, or helping with distribution.
We are deeply grateful for every organization that stands alongside us. Your partnership transforms generosity into real impact for children and families.
Special thanks to Pediatric Movement Center for hosting a diaper drive (September 15-19, 2025) and collecting over 4,700 diapers and hygiene essentials; New Beginnings Word Ministry (Fredericksburg, VA) for collecting close to 400 diapers and hygiene essentials; and a super shero for collecting over 1,000 diapers and hygiene essentials to support Frederick families.
We are excited to announce our newest community partner: Basal Therapies who will be supporting us as a donation site very soon!
